[Friday August 1, 2014]
It’s been exactly a week since I landed back in Toronto, having spent the month in St. John’s, Newfoundland for Shad. I’m still suffering from pretty major PSD (Post Shad Depression), as Dr. Lye, our Program Director, called it.
3 smiles of today:
1. Listening to music from Newfoundland and Labrador.
I found a way to listen to local radio stations from St. John’s online, and listened to CJYQ 930 AM the entire day, a station playing local music from Newfoundland and Labrador. Definitely fits my taste.
2. No summer school assignments due today.
I submitted a few assignments in my Canadian and International Law course early, resulting in not having anything due tonight. The next two case studies are due Tuesday, after the long weekend.
3. Today’s Friday, and it’s a long weekend!
Going to be spending most of the weekend doing homework, but it’s a long weekend! That’s always a reason to be happy and smile!
