Childhood Dreaming

[Wednesday August 6, 2014]

I think I’m finally getting into the rhythm of things: work, gym, work, eat, work, sleep, repeat. It’s hard to believe that school starts again in less than a month. How is summer more than halfway done already?!

3 smiles of today:

1. A close family friend is returning to work tomorrow after a brain tumor.

She found out that she had a brain tumor the size of a walnut at the end of April, and had surgery to have it removed. Unfortunately, the surgeons weren’t able to remove the entire tumor. But, she’s feeling up to return to work, starting tomorrow! 🙂

2. Peanut butter and honey sandwiches.

I haven’t had one of these in years; probably the last time I had one was when I was 7. But they are absolutely delicious! My hands are still slightly sticky from the honey leaking everywhere, but it’s all worth it.

3. Felt completely at ease during SH’BAM.

I felt quite awkward doing SH’BAM when I went to the class at the gym last week, but today, I was able to really get into it and not feel self-conscious while doing it.

Loves.
