Where, Oh Where Have I Been

[Monday September 15, 2014]

I know, I know, I rather suddenly went off the map. I was meaning to post the days from when I was on vacation, but I got about 2 days into that when procrastination took over. And then, the amount of days I missed piled up and feeling kind of overwhelmed, I chose to put this blog out of my mind and watch some more YouTube videos and TV shows… So, here I am again, and this time, new rule: I’m going to try my very hardest to post every day, but if I do happen to miss one, I won’t be going back and doing it. (If anyone who reads this blog wants to give in their two cents in the comments, should I do a short recap of the few weeks I missed? I’m open to doing it, especially since a lot happened, but I’m not sure anyone would want to read a diary/journal recount.)

3 smiles of today:

1. Getting a compliment for this blog on Facebook.

Thanks Lisa!!! Just when I finally thought I wasn’t missing Newfoundland as much with all the work that’s been keeping me busy, you’ve really got great timing! 😉 (Lisa was the Assistant Program Manager for when I was at Shad, back in July.)

2. Not having to take home my math textbook.

It’s heavy. Extremely heavy. (Heavier than any of my other textbooks.) Really glad for once since the start of this school year that I didn’t have to lug it all the way home.

3. Twitter conversation with LeAnn Rimes.

As you may or may not know, I’ve really gotten into LeAnn’s music in the past month and a half. I’ve always been a fan of hers, but I never really listened to much beyond her singles. Anyways, she followed me on Twitter yesterday (after a bit of me tweeting at her), and she’s been replying and favouriting ever since. 🙂 (Though I do have to say, there are also some seriously mean and thoughtless people who keep replying as well ever since…)

Loves.

  1. So great to have you back! Personally, if you miss like a week or something you can always do 3 (or more!) smiles for the week that passed 🙂 Just a thought! xo

    • That sounds like a good compromise! I think I’ll do that from now on, if I ever miss a few days in a row in the future. Fingers crossed that I don’t though!

    • It is fulfilling; I love writing!!! [Most of the time, anyways] 🙂 There’s just so few hours in a day, and so much stuff to do!!!
      Thanks for the comment!
