I’m Mary. I’m a huge fan of Country and indie music, small coffee shops (though I’m as equally a big fan of Starbucks), photography, and somehow making a difference in the world. I’ve lived in one big city, Toronto, for essentially my entire life, but I’m obsessed with small towns.

Recently, I’ve realized just how much negativity and complaining there is in our lives. Yet, if we stop and take a moment to think, there are so many things that we should be thankful for in our daily lives. I’ve created this blog to make note of these things and hopefully bring a smile to someone’s face, somewhere out there. My goal is to post three things that made me smile or happy each day, no matter how hard of a day it may have been. There’s always a reason to smile. 🙂

  1. Hi! I came to your blog through your comment on the Community Pool post and I’m absolutely in love with the idea behind your blog!
Also, I lived in Mississauga for 3 years so anything that reminds me of Canada always brings a smile to my face 🙂 So glad I found your blog! Got yourself a new follower 🙂

  2. Hi, Mary! I really like the idea for your blog. I also believe there are many things to be happy and grateful for, you just have to stop and look! =)

    • Awesome!!! Here’s to Toronto, the best city! 😉
(On another note, do you know if there’s a way to follow blogs with a registered domain name, such as yours, through WordPress? I can’t seem to find a way to do it, apart from through email :/ )

      • As long as the blog owner has a follow button you can do so either the follow button (top bar if on the computer) and in the bottom right hand corner (if on mobile) or the RSS feed! I believe it’s the same as other wordpress accounts.
